Pastor Eddie Parsadanian

Pastor Eddie Parsadanian was born in Tehran, Iran and at the age of six, God supernaturally spoke to his heart through the winter snow. God had formed a sign for him in a waiting pool having the snowflakes come down as a perfect sheet to the exact measurements of the pool three times. After the third time, the Lord spoke to Pastor Eddie’s heart saying: “I am the creature of all things and rule over all”. After that event, he would pray every night to the God who manifested himself to him. The only prayer he knew was in Russian, always ending with “in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit” which he learned from his grandmother. Four years later, he came to the United States at the age of ten with his older brother, and mother. Growing up in the Echo Park area, Pastor Eddie graduated from Belmont High School in 1967 at the height of the Vietnam War. After working for a year and a half, he joined the US Air Force and was sent to Vietnam and South East Asia two years later. It was there where Pastor Eddie’s search for the purpose of life was supernaturally led by the Spirit of God to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Upon returning from South East Asia in 1972, the word of God became alive in him and to him as he opened up his first Bible. On May 31, 1973 Pastor Eddie accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. From 1974-1977, he attended LACC and received his Associates Degree in Psychology. He felt the Lord’s Calling to become a Pastor, and started LIFE Bible College in Los Angeles, in 1978. Graduating in June of 1983, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology & Pastoral Studies with a Minor in Christian Education. Having attending Christ Church in Los Angeles, while being the Superintendent of Sunday School, upon his graduation from Bible College he was asked to be the Associate Pastor under the leadership of Pastor John Hinkle. Pastor Eddie met his soon to be wife at Christ Church as she was a soloist in the church. In May of 1987, Pastor Eddie and Jeanette were married. They had two daughters: Elizabeth (1988) and Jeanetty (1990). After twelve years of service, on 1995, the Lord called Pastor Eddie to pioneer a church and start a new work of the Spirit. November of 1995, Church of The Living Word of God was birthed-forth and has been serving the Los Angeles community ever since. Pastor Eddie is gifted with various Spiritual Ministries, as healing, word of knowledge, and the prophetic word. Pastor Eddie, along with his wife and two daughters minister in their God-given gifts, to fulfill the Great Commission in the Name of the Lord. Their desire is for ALL, and everyone to come to the knowledge of God’s love in Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In the community, Pastor Eddie had joined forces with other churches to combat the destructive elements in our community and City of Los Angeles. His work involved in the community to Outreach and to bring peace among various gangs and upheavals that occurred in the community. He has brought different peoples of race and nations to come together to sit down and have dialog for the better of the community. As Pastor Eddie was the acting president of the L.A.P.D. Clergy Council Wilshire Division, he worked with other Pastors which included Korean, Hispanic and African American, and Anglo to have symposiums for battered women, people with disabilities, and at risk youth. The Church of the Living Word of God, under Pastor Eddie’s leadership, has an annual Thanksgiving, Christmas food & toy give away, along with Bibles and Spiritual Books of Faith. The Church also helps in supporting in giving food, clothing, toys and financial gifts to local ministries who work with drug rehab and hurting family ministries. Each year there’s also a big drive to help the poor in various countries around the world and to send toys working with Samaritan’s Purse in Operation Christmas Child. The Pico community neighborhood and its corridor is a place that is dear to Pastor Eddie’s heart and a place where the Lord has Called Pastor Eddie for such a time as this. Pastor Eddie along with his family, wife Jeanette and his 2 daughters, Elizabeth & Jeanetty, and The Church of the Living Word of God, count it a privilege and an honor to be in this mixed community and to minister to the different nations and races and individuals that God has formed for His own glory.
